Well the Earth Day Fundraiser was more fun then a success.

Thanks to Kevin W. and Tia for throwing this event together. It was a lot of fun and we learned some new tricks for future “concert events.” Thanks to Dustun for getting the popcorn machine all setup and thanks to Karl for bringing the bag of tricks to get us through the event unscathed.

If you can’t volunteer, check out our booth this Thursday, 4/19, at the Earth Day celebration on campus!

Tia needs help making posters to advertise for our game tournament!  If you have the time, please go to the poster room in the Student Activities Center from 10-11 am this Thursday, 4/19.

Also, our Cherry Blossom Festival trip is this Saturday, 4/21!

Some of you may have noticed that we are fundraising like mad this semester.  The reason for this is that we are trying to raise an extra $600 to purchase a projector from the school.  Owning this projector will save us $300 in fees every semester.  However, the school has decided that they want payment for the projector BY THE END OF THIS SEMESTER.

In addition to fundraising all over the place, we are asking members to donate $5 each towards the projector purchasing fund.  This donation is by no means mandatory, but every little bit will make a big difference.  We currently have about 40 active members. If each member donates only $5, that will cover 1/3 of the projector purchasing cost!  Please give as much as you can, even if it is less than $5.  Donators of $20 or more will receive excellent art from Tia as a thank you!  ^_^
