Well everyone, another semester has come and gone. We laughed, we cried, and through it all, we sometimes let out a little fart here and there. The final meeting of Spring 2009 will be this Thursday, May 14th, in our regualr meeting room (A40) from 5 - 10pm. There will be a potluck, a random hour, and a swap meet, so bring your food or old anime/games to sell.

There will also be discussion for new officers, responsibilities, and what events will be held next semester. This is an important meeting for the future of the club, so please attend!!

A few things to note as we begin to finish off our semester:

• There will be no meeting this week (4/17), due to spring break.
• The Game Tournament has been officially canceled, due to budget planning. We apologize for any inconvenience.
• The Film Festival is approaching, on Saturday, May 2nd. See the link for more info.
• We will be having our last meeting on May 14th and it will be a Random Anime Day, a swap meet, and a potluck.

We have now officially reserved our room for the semester at A40, and as of now, there will be no irregular meetings. Each meeting will still be on Thursdays from 5-10pm.

A new live-action show, Keitai Sousukan 7, has also been voted for this semester’s viewing pleasure. Let the cell phone fighting commence!

Hello there all you happy people! Get out of your hibernative state and get your butt over to the first meeting of the semester, this Thursday, Feb. 19th from 5:00pm to 10:00pm in MSR 130. We’ll talk about this semester’s anime, upcoming events, club faire, and a formal discussion on foreign relations between China and Tibet. (We might skip the last one if we run out of time.)

To all you Asian film fans, Animeikyou will be hosting an Asian Double Feature Film Festival on Saturday, November 22. That means THIS Saturday! 

It will be hosted at CSU Stanislaus’s Main Stage Theater from 3PM-7PM. For those unfamiliar with the CSUS Turlock campus, follow the following link for a map of the campus.http://www.csustan.edu/directories/Maps … pus_Plans/ 
The Main Stage is located in the Building labled number 7. 

The films we will be watching are Miyori no Mori ( a slice of life anime film special) and Oh! Brothers ( a Korean live action comedy). They’re great films and I hope to see you all there! 

Please note: The films do have some adult themes, so anyone under 15 is asked to have adult supervision.
